1171 Failed in Joint Exam in Armenian and Literature

The average grade of joint exams in Armenian language and literature taken so far is 10.98 points (out of 20 points possible), spokesperson of Evaluating and Testing Centre of Armenia Gayane Manukyan told Tert.am.
According to Manukyan only 2 applicants scored 20 points, while last year 12 applicants had scored the highest possible points.
Further she mentioned that 1171 applicants (10.89%) had not cleared the 8 point threshold to get a passing grade.
Last year 9.78% of applicants had failed in this exam.
3.38% have scored 17.5 points and higher, 17.48% have scored 13.5-17.25 points, while those scoring 7.5-13.25 points make up 68.27%.
A total of 10754 applicants have participated in this exam with 400 having missed it.
