Hraparak: Armenian, Artsakh national security officials to meet for joint session by January
The National Security Councils of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) are planning to hold a joint session by late December to discuss what the paper claims the expected developments around Artsakh (instead of summing up the activities over the past period, as may be declared officially).
The paper notes that the two Councils met back in May after the OSCE Minsk released a warning to sides of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict in response to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's call for returning the second Armenian republic to the negotiating table. The mediators particularly urged the sides to refrain from statements and actions that would esssentially change the situation in the conflict zone.
The co-chairs of the Minsk Group thus believe that unilateral concessions in the negotiation format must be disallowed without the consent of the other party, the paper says, commenting on the report.
