Armenia hosts 7th regional HR management forum

The Seventh Annual Regional HR Conference is being held in Armenia this year to address the urgent and pressing problems in the sector, allowing for an effective exchange of views among the participants and guest speakers.  

Around 200 attendees from 15 countries applied for the long-awaited event organized by Cascade People & Business in collaboration with Armenian HR Association.  

This year's forum hosts 25 keynote speakers from Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, United States, Austria, Germany, the Philippines and Poland. Most of them have already delivered speeches and conducted master classes as part of the two-day event.

“The regional conference is a wonderful platform allowing for an exchange of views among the participants. The title for each year’s conference is selected based on previous surveys. This year’s conference is totally devoted to game and game solutions in business. We speak about game solutions within the scope of our profession, [applying the method] to recruitment, group work, office environment, teaching process, motivation system, etc. We have wonderful speakers and a very interesting program,” said Arpi Karapetyan, the founder and managing director of Cascade People & Business.

“Human resources have a unique and extremely important role. They are a special kind of bridge between the employees of a company and the society, a bridge where the ‘traffic management’ pursues several directions. A flexible approach and promotion – of not only the personnel but also the company – must be the key principles underlying HR management to allow for everybody’s active engagement in work, increasing competitive advantages and becoming part of the general set of values,” added  Ralph Yirikyan, the CEO of VivaCell-MTS.

The second ever project, implemented by GIZ Private Sector Development (PSD) and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the South Caucasus to assist in the development of human capacities, focuses on a very important and actual topic this year - the launch of innovative digital solutions in the private sector - to ensure sustainability and competitiveness, according to Wilhelm Hugo, the team Leader of GIZ PSD TVET in Armenia.
 

“We are sure that this conference has brought together local and regional experts to help us record another tangible step in the field,” he added.

An important innovation unveiled on the sidelines of the event is Teamification, a software tool elaborated and launched through the collaborative efforts of the startup company M.In.D and Cascade People & Business.

The general partners of the conference are VivaCell-MTS, Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia and Reebok Sports Club. Also HSBC Armenia, GIZ PSD TVET in South Caucasus, the printing house Hatiq, Skill.am and Armenia Wine have sponsored the initiative.
