Armenia's cooperation with Amundi-ACBA Asset Management discussed at meeting with deputy premier
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan on Monday received a delegation from Amundi-ACBA Asset Management to discuss cooperation trends and opportunities.
Congratulating the French company on its fifth anniversary, the deputy premier expressed the government's willingness to develop cooperation ''with the credible and reputable partner. ''
At the meeting attended by Bernard De Wit, the head of the company's Monitoring and Control Department (who headed the delegation), Atom Janjughazyan, the minister of finance , Zaruhi Batoyan, the minister of labor and social affairs and Nersses Yeritsyan, a deputy president of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), Grigoryan appreciated collaboration with companies "pursuing transparent and sustainable practices" in the implementation of reforms in Armenia.
Mr Witt, for his part, briefed the Armneian officials on their company's general trends and practices.
According to a press release by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, the sides mutually agreed on the need to further accomplish the stock market in Armenia. They also emphasized the importance of raising public awareness of funded pensions, attaching a major priority to the development of the system and deepening of cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Grigoryan reaffirmed the Government's willingness to expand collaboration, emphasizing that they have embarked on a highly responsible effort ''promising a major social, economic and financial impact.''
