Currently, it is preferred to actualize vetting with other toolkits, but we intend to have a separate law concerning vetting. Lilit Makunts, head of the "My Step" faction, told this to the journalists today.

"The toolkit of vetting will naturally assume a number of legislative proposals to make it possible, particularly by the Supreme Judicial Council and the Anti-Corruption Authority, but there is no such discussion at this time," said Makunts.

In response to a question yesterday the Minister of Justice said that he was ready for the a draft on execution of confiscation of property without a conviction, which had been sent to the international expertise, the preliminary discussion with the National Assembly, Lilit Makunts said she was not personally familiar and aware if the state-legal commission is familiar with it or not.

To the question as to what the legislators imagine as a solution to the crisis in the Constitutional Court, Makunts said that they are getting acquainted with the proposals sent by the Constitutional Court, than they will talk about it.

"There can be no arbitrary or political stances on this issue; it is necessary to understand what the CC has to do, what are the ways in which we are in the field of authority and what the Constitutional Court proposes," Makunts said.

To the question if some of the judges are dismissed after vetting, will there be any personnel issues and in that case who will replace them, Makunts said: "It's too early to speak about it”.

What concerns the topic how the SJC will implement the vetting of the judges, whether the members of SJC need to be vet as well, Makunts said that they had approached it in terms of what they imagined to be in political terms and the rest is already in the professional domain.
