We will light candles even without permission, Tigran Karapetyan says

Head of People's Party of Armenia Tigran Karapetyan said today that the party will organize a candle lighting action at Myasnikyan monument on February 28 in the memory of March 1 victims. He noted that a corresponding request was submitted to the city administration.

"We will light candles even without permission," the request runs.

"I strongly condemn March 1 events and I heartily wish to organize a candle lighting action," Tigran Karapeyan said. Speaking about the trial of political prisoners, he noted that he considered it a joke and not a trial, and added that the problem would be solved only through indulgence. According to him, the country will have no political prisoners in a month.
