Delegation of Armenian MPs Go to Washington on Eve of Armenian Genocide Bill

On March 3, a number of Armenian MPs left for Washington, with the aim of presenting to the US Congress the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia’s viewpoint on H.Res.252, the bill on recognizing the Armenian Genocide to be put to a vote by the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee on March 4.

Invited by co-chairs of the congressional Armenian Caucasus, Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Mark Kirk (R-IL), the Armenian delegation is comprised of Republican Party of Armenia members Artak Zakaryan and Koryun Nahapetyan, as well as Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, or ARF-D) faction leader Vahan Hovhannesyan.
