State Gives Three-Bedroom Apartment to Person with Disability in Armenia

An amount of 17,533,000 AMD (about $45,886 USD) has been secured for a three-bedroom apartment in Yerevan for Mayis Mirzon, a person who the state has classified as having a “second-degree” disability (there are three levels of disability defined by the Government of Armenia).

This decision, made by the RA government during its meeting today, was based on Article 13 of the “RA Law on Social Security for Military Servants and Their Family Members.”
