Shameful Championship in Turkey: Chief Referee Bribed

A Sanda-Wushu competition in Antalya, South Eastern Turkey, was marred by suspicions that the organizers were corrupted and did their best for Armenia’s national team of Armenia to fail in the championship, ArmSport.am’s correspondent reports from Antalya.

Prepared by Alexander Raduncev, Germany, the referee board was quite biased in its work and made several mistakes during almost all the single combats.

The chief referee of the Sanda-Wushu of this championship, Peter Vor, was said to be bribed by the Wushu Federation of Turkey. According to ArmSport.am, the Armenia team lost 5 single combats due to referee bias.

Despite this, the Armenian team was able to win 11 medals, of which two were gold.
