Torrential Rains Hit Georgia

Torrential rains have affected practically all of the Republic of Georgia. The power has gone out in a number of areas, and a number of bridges have collapsed, reports Russian news source Vesti.ru.

In Tbilisi, it’s primarily the old section of the country’s capital that’s been hit the hardest, with a dozen houses being flooded, power cables being damaged, and water supply being restricted.
