And Here’s Some Good News: Mammadyarov Comments on Nalbandian's Madrid Principles Statement

"Nalbandian's statement that Armenia accepts the renewed version of the Madrid Principles is a positive factor,” said Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov, according to ministry sources, reports News.az, citing 1news.az.

"This creates good opportunities for continuation and completion of the first stage of negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh between Azerbaijan, Armenia and OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in order to start working on a new big peace agreement.

According to Mammadyarov, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs have not yet contacted him personally regarding the results of a March 16 meeting with Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian in Paris.
