Armenian Media Not Displaying Professionalism when Reporting on Armenian-Turkish Relations: Turkologist

Armenian media today reports on Armenian-Turkish relations and events taking place in Turkey without filtering the information, and this isn’t right, said Turkologist Ruben Melkonyan at a press conference today.

“That Armenian media presented [Bedros] Şirinoğlu as a leader of the Armenian community [in Istanbul] speaks to the professional approach,” said Melkonyan, sarcastically.

According to the Turkologist, it would be better if media, when reporting on Armenian-Turkish relations, consulted experts, so that such pitfalls could be avoided.
