April 5 is Memorial Day in Armenia: Do You Get the Day Off?

The day following Easter Sunday is Memorial Day, according to the RA Law on Rememberance and Holidays. Memorial Day is a statutory holiday and thus is considered to be a day off for many — but not all.

Government offices and state buildings will be closed on Monday. Civil servants, however, will be expected to come to work on Saturday, April 10, instead.
