Anna Paquin Declares She's Bisexual

In a move that has surprised many, True Blood actress Anna Paquin has come out of the closet in a new PSA and declared she’s bisexual, reports enterntainment news site Spike.com

Anna Paquin joins a host of celebrities for the Give a Damn campaign, a project started by Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, which fights for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender equality.

In the spot, the 27-year-old declares, “I'm Anna Paquin. I'm bisexual and I give a damn.”

The actress, who is engaged to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, goes on to say, “One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country.”

Paquin’s sexual orientation surprised even the organizers of the campaign, who said they were unaware Paquin would make such an announcement at the January 30th taping.
