Erdogan Will Meet Fidel Castro

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planning to meet the former Cuban President Fidel Castro.

According to Turkish local daily Radikal Erdogan intends to meet the Commandant, 83, in the framework of his Latin American tour in May.

The Turkish PM will meet also Castro's brother and the current President Raul Castro who was hand over the authority after Fidel's health condition deteriorated.

Erdogan's visit to Cuba and his meeting with Fidel Castro has caught up media spotlight and is set to kick up various reactions among world leaders.

Earlier the Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman had said that Erdogan was "gradually turning into Gaddafi [President of Libya] or Chavez [Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez]" before Erdogan criticized Israel over the Gaza Strip.
