I Do Not Comment on Delirium: Ruben Vardanyan

In a press conference today in Yerevan famous Armenian businessman Ruben Vardanyan, the owner of Troika Dialog Group, denied news that he was planning to sell Troika Dialog.

“I do not comment on delirium. It was completely made up by journalists. I am not going to sell Troika Dialog yet. It would be stupidity to comment on anything that does not exist,” said Vardanyan.

Earlier Russian newspaper RBK daily had reported an article which said that Ruben Vardanyan was going to sell at least the control packet of Troika Dialog’ shares to The Standard Bank of South Africa in a half-and-a-year’s time.

The source had also mentioned that Vardanyan was going to leave his post of director and to completely devote himself to charity and educational projects or might practice politics in his homeland — Armenia — as soon as the deal was signed.
