Education Minister Promising to Forbid Bad Books from Schools
The competition over which books should be used in schools has already been finished, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan told journalists at a press conference today.
The Ministry has decided that there will be no new books for 3-4 subjects in senior schools, as those books do not meet the quality standards experts expect.
“The Ministry assumes political responsibility to prevent bad books from entering schools. I have for several occasions confessed that it is far easier to prevent bad books from entering schools than to later eradicate them from the education process,” said Ashotyan.
