Odnoklassniki Turning a Little 'Chinese'
Digital Sky Technologies Company (DST), a leading global Internet holding that originated in the Russian speaking world and belongs to Yury Milner, Grigory Finger and Alisher Usmanov, has sold 10% of its shares to the Chinees largest Tencent internet Company, reports Russian local daily Vedomosty.
Among websources owned by DST are Odnoklassniki.ru, Mail.ru, Astrum Online Entertainament, etc.
Tencent has bought DST's shares for $300 million USD.
The Russian shareholders now own 75% of DST after the deal.
Yury Milner said he was sure that it was a strategic deal for DST.
