Time Passing in Favor of Justice: What Will Obama Say on April 24?

If US President Barack Obama does not pronounce the word “genocide” in his April 24 commemoration address, it will mean that the US administration yielded to Turkey’s blackmail, deputy of Armenian Revolutionary Federation Party (Dashnaktsutiun, ARF-D) Hrayr Karapetyan said at a press conference today, referring to the meetings Armenian and Turkish diplomats held recently in Washington in the framework of the World Nuclear Security Summit.

In his words the fact that Mr Obama will not pronounce the g-word, will mean Turkey will have a temporary win, as all the same, the world, including the US, will recognize the Armenian Genocide.

Karapetyan is sure that sooner or later, under the pressure of international community, Turkey will recognize the Armenian Genocide too, and most importantly time is passing in favor of justice.

“Time is passing in favor of the justice and that justice is the very recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey itself,” said Karapetyan.
