Hatis in Russian Championship?

Armenian basketball team Hatis has received an invitation to participate in the Russian women’s basketball open competition in 2010/2011.

Among the participants will be also leading teams from the former Soviet Union countries such Ukraine and Lithuania, local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am reports.

Should this initiative come true, 8 basketball teams will compete in 2 rounds. Hatis may compete with the Lithuanian TEO Vilnius, the Ukrainian Dynamo (Kyiv) and the 5 other leading Russian teams.
