Armenian Businessman Killed in Moscow

An Armenian national businessman was shot to death last night in the Russian capital of Moscow. The incident is said to have happened in Veshnyakoskaya Street, Interfax news agency reports, citing legislative bodies in Moscow.

Robert Margaryan, 40, was the head of a Aligasha – a company that produces shoes for children.

Margaryan was shot dead near the entrance of his own house. Witnesses say the murderer shot twice at Margaryan’s nape.

He died before the ambulance would arrive at the scene of murder. The police say they found 9 mm cartridge cases. It is suspected to be a contract killing.

An investigation is underway.
