MTC Negotiating with Twitter

Russian mobile phone operator MTC has started negotiations with micro blogging social network Twitter with an aim to get permission to send twits through SMSs.

This new service will also enable the subscribers to follow the changes in the micro blogs in Twitter, reports Russian web source RBK daily.

Earlier MTC had reached agreement over such negotiations with the Russian Rutvig micro-blog service.

Most of Twitter followers send their notes through SMSs in US, while Russian citizens are deprived of this opportunity as there is no such service between mobile phone operator and micro-blogging networks.
