Lilit Mkrtchyan Celebrating First Victory

Armenian chess player Lilit Mkrtchyan celebrated her first victory in Women’s FIDE Grand Prix competition in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria, by defeating Chinese player Hu Zao with black figures.

While Mkrtchyan is on the winning side another Armenian player, Elina Danielyan, is having a poor performance, loosing to Swedish Pia Kramling with white figures.

With the 4th tour already over Russian player Tatiana Kosintseva is heading the competition list having earned 3.5 points.

Lilit and other 5 players are among 4-9 with 2 points.

Elina Danielyan is the 12th with her 0.5 point.
