Pyunik Wins Armenia's Cup for a Second Consecutive Year

The final stage of the Armenian Cup saw local Armenian football team Pyunik beating Banants by a 4:0 score on May 10 at the Yerevan-based Hanrapetakan (Republican) Stadium.

The goals were scored by Davit Manoyan, Markos and Gevorg Ghazaryan who scored a double one.

President of the Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan handed medals to the Pyunik players, and Sargis Hovsepyan, the current captain of Pyunik, had one more chance to keep Armenia's cup above his head and celebrate their victory.

This is the second time Pyunik has for a second consecutive time become the winner of Armenian cup.
