Will Azerbaijani Oil Dollars Have Their Say in Eurovision 2010?

Azerbaijan has secured its contestant Safura's victory in the Eurovision 2010 Song Contest this year with his "oil dollars."

Russian websites report that it is the Azerbaijani mafia that has undertaken the organization of their Safura's participation in the contest.

According to Russian media outlets the Azerbaijani mafia is eager to take revenge on their Russian colleagues for Dima Bilan who won the Eurovision 2008 Song Contest with their efforts.

Local Turkish daily Hurriyet describes this confrontation as a "Russian-Azerbaijani war."

The Azerbaijani contestant is expected to have a concert in Moscow. While all the other contestants are through with their tours,
Safura is currently undertaking an extensive European promotional campaign.

After her promo-tour in Moscow she is set to leave for Oslo.
