Le Monde Depicts Erdogan as Monkey with Ahmadinejad and Lula de Silva Around Him

Famous French Daily Le Monde has in its today's issue pictured Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's caricature, reports Turkish gazereciler.com website.

The caricature depicts Erdogan, Iran's President Mahmud Ahmadinejad and Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva as monkeys, sitting together.

"The publication of such a caricature by a famous French newspaper like Le Monde will raise the alarm in Turkey: in that offensive caricature Prime Minister Erdogan is depicted as monkey," writes the source.

Interestingly, the caricature is devoted to Iran's recent nuclear swap deal mediated by Brazil that will see some of Iran's low-grade uranium enrich in Turkey and return back as 120kg high-grade fuel to be used for scientific purposes.
