Who Can Visit Azerbaijan? At Least Not Those Who Observed NKR Elections

Azerbaijan has said it denies entry to those citizens who observed the parliamentary elections in Nagorno Karabakh.

“The list of the foreigners, who observed the elections in Nagorno Karabakh has been made, they will be banned from arriving in Azerbaijan,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov told APA.

The black list includes also includes Russian parliamentarians Igor Chernishenko, Kiril Cherkasov, Tatyana Volojinskaya, Maksim Mishenko, Konstantin Zatulin

“The list includes the below mentioned persons, the work on the list continues. The foreigners, who have been included into the list, will be banned from arriving in Azerbaijan Republic,” he said.

The list includes Paris representative of France Institute of Democracy and Cooperation Dzovinar Melkonian, independent French observer Maurice Bonneau, professor of Free University of Berlin Hartmut Egger, member of Slovakia parliament Frantisek Miklosko, head of the Netherlands-US mission Michael Kovak, international observer Galina Ratnikova, Russian public figure Viktor Sheynis, expert of Strategic Culture Foundation of Russia Andrei Areshev, member of Iran-Armenia friendship union Rubik Sardarian, member of Iran-Armenia Friendship society Mirgasim Momeni, parliamentarian from Argentina Jose Arbo, former parliamentarian from Argentina Sergio Nahabetian and Czech film director Makhtin Makhdal.
