Sargsyan Discussed With Rehn Economic Integration of Armenia

Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with the European Economic and Monetary Commissioner Olli Rehn on May 26.

The parties discussed the macro-economic assistance EU provides Armenia, as well as issues pertaining to the development of the Armenia-EU trade and economic relations. Talks for signing an agreement on free and comprehensive trade and implementing it were part of discussions.

Sargsyan and Rehn also discussed the measures taken for the implementation of the economic integration aimed at establishing a system of market that will meet the European standards.

Sargsyan stressed that Armenia is resolute in implementing the economic reforms required for the status of market economy.
