Ankara is Concerned about Yerevan’s ‘Harsh’ Wording

Ankara sees some ‘harshness’ in Yerevan’s statements on Armenia-Turkey normalization and thinks that it will not bring any good to the normalization process, said Spokesperson of Turkish Foreign Ministry Burak Ozugergin, reported by Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency.

Ozugergin also said that Turkey has such a regional vision which includes both normalization of relations with Armenia and settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“We think that harsh words will be beneficial neither for Armenia nor for the whole process. We are using soft wording. On the one hand, we are saying let’s create an economic sphere, and build stability together, live in welfare, and on the other hand, aggressive statements are not in line with the atmosphere we want to develop,” said Ozugergin.
