Putin to Visit Turkey With Regional Issues on Agenda

On June 8 Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will upon his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan's invitation leave for Turkey.

According to Turkish daily Today's Zaman Russian PM will in the framework of his visit also participate in a Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia to be held in Istanbul from June 7-9.

With bilateral relations on the agenda Putin will discuss with Turkish officials also the regional issues, as well as Iran's nuclear issue.

Putin will during this visit to Turkey be accompanied by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
