Eva Rivas Paves Her Way to Eurovision Final

The second semi-final of the Eurovision 2010 Song Contest took place yesterday in Oslo. Armenia’s representative Eva Rivas, together with 9 other participants, paved her way to the final stage.

Rivas sang her much-loved Apricot Stone accompanied with the music of duduk performed by the famous duduk-player Jivan Gasparyan.

The winners were determined by SMS and jury voting.

A total of 17 countries were taking part in this semi-final.

Among those clearing their ways to the final stage of this popular song contest are the representatives of Georgia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, Ireland, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Romania, Armenia and Denmark.

The final concert will take place on May 29.
