International Community Should Be Worried about Azerbaijan That Has Nothing to Do with Democracy: Sharmazanov

"I think we should not pay much attention to those statements the international bodies and international community make. Nagorno Karabakh is now a de facto established democratic country, and we will do the best possible for the NK recognition," Spokesperson of the Republican Party of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov told Tert.am, asked what the international community's stormy reaction was accounted for over the parliamentary elections in Nagorno Karabakh.

According to Sharmazanov instead of worrying about the parliamentary elections in Karabakh, the international community should be happy about the fact that there is democracy in Karabakh rather than dictatorship.

"All countries should follow Nagorno Karabakh's example, first of all the Sultan-like Azerbaijan where the political system has nothing to do with democracy. Here is what our European colleagues had better to think about," said Sharmazanov.
