Eurovision 2010 Winner Lena Has Armenian Roots?

The winner of Eurovision 2010 Song Contest Lena Mayer-Landrut from Germany has Armenian roots, Lena’s grandfather Andreas Meyer Landrut is reported to have said in a 2005 interview with the Russian newspaper Izvestia.

According to the Russian newspaper Yerkramas, which covers topics related to the Russia-based Diaspora, Andreas was twice appointed as Germany’s ambassador to the Soviet Union and has a flat in Moscow.
