Smiling Teens and Praying Grown-ups: Here's What You Find in Imanishi's Exhibit in Yerevan

Narekatsi Art Union in Yerevan hosted a photo exhibition by a Japanese photographer today.

Hayato Imanishi has so far been in different countries such as China, India, Dubai, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, as well as Georgia, Turkey and now already in Armenia sharing his impressions with the Armenian art-lovers in the form of the photos he took while travelling.

The main topic of the photos, Imanashi told Tert.am, is the beauty to be found in the smiles of children, as well as in beautiful and impressive sceneries from various countries.

Prevailing in his photos are those depicting praying people.

"What power and beauty praying has," Imanashi said.

Furhter he said he had spent much time in India.

"India is an impoverished country but it presents a various culture and religion," said Imanishi, adding he plans visiting Iran, and then Europe, South Africa and South America.

This exhibition in Yerevan will last till June 18.
