HTC and Orange Localize Global Contract of Their Mother Companies

Within the frames of global partnership between HTC Group and FTGroup/Orange, HTC representation in the CIS and Orange Armenia have decided to localize in Armenia the global sourcing contract of their respective mother companies for a long-term partnership.

"HTC models are an important element in our phone portfolio. We want to make sure our customers get a wide range of devices - from basic phones to sophisticated communicators. And we want to make sure they will find all the best of the new technologies with Orange," said Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO.

Orange announced the sales of HTC Tattoo and Desire models on May 4th within the global partnership of FT Group and HTC. In the future Android and Windows Mobile based other HTC Smartphones will also be offered in Orange shops, already within the new local agreement.

"We are happy for this new level of cooperation between two companies. Orange is one of our major partners in the world, and our cooperation in this very new market is important for us", said Andrey Kormiltsev, head of HTC representation in Russia and CIS.

Already in the coming days special trainings will be organized for Orange Armenia sales consultants for the preparation of the new HTC models to be launched in the nearest future.
