Turkey Will Counter Israel through Iranian Factor։ Sunday Times

Turkey may hit back at Israel by using the Iranian factor, writes famous British daily Sunday Times, referring to the recent Israeli raid on the Flotilla of Freedom that was carrying humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip but was intercepted and attacked by Israeli commandos.

The raid left 9 activists on board of ship – all said to be Turkish citizens.

Citing its anonymous sources the newspaper writes that Turkey will in all probability close down an Israeli reconnaissance station located in Turkey that keeps Iran under surveillance.

Should it be shut down, according to Sunday Times, Israel’s defense capacities against the Iranian nuclear threat will be weakened.
