Turkish Education Minister Personally Hands Certificates to Armenian Children

Turkey's Education Minister Nimet Chabukchu participated in the graduation ceremony at the Armenian schools in Istanbul Wednesday and personally handed the graduation certificates to some Armenian pupils.

According to local Turkish daily Hurriyet the graduation party of all Armenian schools in Istanbul was organized in the Bezciyan college in Kumkapi.

Interestingly, this is the first time that a Turkish education minister participates in the graduation ceremony in minority schools.
