Andranik Margaryan Would Become 59 Today

June 12 is the birthday of former Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan: he would be 59 years old today.

A series of commemoration events will be organized. Members of the Republican Party of Armenia lead by Margaryan in his life time, his relatives and friends will visit his cemetery to pay tribute to his memory.

A statue of Andranik Manukyan will be erected in his native village Irind, Aragatsotn marz (province).

He passed away on March 25, 2007 from a heart attack. He was still 56 years old then.
