Aram Karapetyan Will Join Sitting Protest on Azatutyun Square Today

Former political prisoner and head of Nor Zhamanakner Party (New Times) Aram Karapetyan has issued a statement in which he says he will take part in a sitting protest to be held on Azatutyun Square.

The protest will be held in defense of political prisoners in Armenia.

“I, the President of Nor Jamanakner Party will from 8 pm to 10 pm on June 18, 2010 will be on Azatutyun Square in Yerevan and will participate in the sitting protest in defense of political prisoners in the Republic of Armenia,” reads the statement.
