Davutoglu expects positive developments over Karabakh from Clinton's visit

The Armenia-Turkey Protocols are still on the agenda but political conjuncture is necessary to be formed [for their ratification], Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told journalists in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Turkish daily Today's Zaman, Davutoglu said that US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton's visit to the region is expected to bring about positive developments, particularly for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"We are closely following that theme, we hope that there will be positive developments in the Caucasus in summer," Davutoglu was reported as saying.
