Living in a country where the Constitution is being violated almost every day: Arman Musinyan

“We are living in a country where the Constitution is being violated almost every day,” Arman Musinyan, press secretary of former president Levon Ter-Petrosyan, told Tert.am asked to comment on occasion of the of day of Constitution.

“And the fight of HAK [Armenian National Congress] is aimed at restoring the constitutional order in the country and establishing the rule of Constitution,” said, Musinyan, congratulating the Armenian nation on the occasion of the day of the Constitution.

Armenia adopted its Constitution on July 5 in 1995 following a pan-national referendum. Another one was conducted on November 27 in 2005 which brought about amendments to the main law of Armenia.

The Constitution comprises 9 sections and 117 articles which stipulate that the Republic of Armenia is a sovereign, democratic, socialistic and legal state where the authority is vested in the people.
