Azerbaijani and Turkish hackers attacked Facebook's Armenian version

On July 5 a group of Azerbaijani hackers backed by Turkish ones attacked the Armenian version of the famous social networking website Facebook.

The hackers used the "Translations" section of the site. As the Armenian version is still in the Beta version and therefore open to new translations or voting, any one in principle can propose new versions of this or that word or expression.

In fact, the attackers voted for their version of translations during one day more than the Armenian Facebook users had done so far.

AZERBAIJAN, KARABAKH IS AZERBAIJANI TERRITORY, AZPATRIOT FROM AZERBAIJAN, F**K ARMENIA, LONG LIVE AZERBAIJAN and other words and expressions can be found in almost every section including the home page.

Tens of Armenian users have initiated a complaint to the Facebook administration asking to fix the problem.
