Turkey has expressed its discontent over Clinton's visit to Genocide Memorial to US: Davutoglu

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's visit to South Caucasus countries was a right initiative in terms of its timing, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said as he spoke from local Turkish TV channel TGRT.

According to Davutoglu that visit will bring about positive developments in the region.

Speaking about her visit to Tsitsernakaberd - the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in the waning days of the Ottoman

Empire - Davutoglu said that though the visit was a private one, Turkey has already expressed its discontent to US over the issue.
Immediately after Clinton's visit to Yerevan and Baku Davutoglu had said that it would give an impetus to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

"We are closely following that theme. We hope that Caucasus will see positive developments this summer," Davutoglu had said.
