Glendale's Armenian mayor Najaryan went to the same college with Barack Obama

Ara Najaryan, an Armenian-American and Mayor of Glendale city in California state, US, confirmed during a press conference today in Yerevan the widespread news that he used to go to college with US President Barak Obama.

“In 1981 we used to go to Occidental college in Los Angeles. He was the last one you would think would become president of US,” said Najaryan, reminding the journalists that Obama was then a young man with long curly hair.

Ara Najaryan is in Armenia to participate in a conference organized by the Ministry of Diaspora.
