No party sweeping expected in Heritage: Armen Martirosyan

"I think this will be my last press conference as board chairman of the party," board chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosyan told a press conference today ahead of the party's congress to be held on Saturday.

Martirosyan said he would not file his candidacy as board chairmen of the party and therefore cannot be elected in that position.

In his words the following issues will be high on the congress agenda: report of party's activities in the past two years, elections of new staff of the political bureau of Heritage, adoption of policy that will lead the party to the upcoming parliamentary elections.

As what concerns sweeping the party members Martirosyan said: "There has never been any cleansing in Heritage," said he.
