Heritage congress starts with incident

Heritage Party's 7th congress that started with a surprising incident after midday on Saturday in the sessions' hall in the Government House.

When Zaruhy Postanjyan entered the hall a man from the participants welcomed her with applause saying out loud that Postanjyan is the only person who carries a just struggle in the National Assembly.

When the incident was already over, the congress started with a clergyman prayer followed by the national anthem of Armenia.

Further Heritage Party board chairman Armen Martirosyan delivered a speech presenting what was done during the last two years.

Tert.am's correspondent says no official figures are attending the congress.

479 Heritage members had been registered to attend the congress but only 347 were present.
