Baku will have to cooperate with Armenia: Jan Borkowski

It is necessary to normalize relations with other countries in the framework of European Union, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Jan Borkowski said in an interview with news agency Regnum.

His comment comes shortly after the leader of Azerbaijani Democratic Reforms Party Asim Mollazade said on Monday that Baku had no intention and therefore will not cooperate with Armenia within the framework of the EU-implemented Eastern Partnership program as long as "Azerbaijani territories remain occupied."

According to Borkowski the program is a good chance for the two countries to cooperate with each other.
"Many conflicts have been resolved due to cooperation. The Franco-Germanic decades-long conflict, as we can see, ended up with European integration. So, let's be optimistic. It is necessary to participate in projects, and it will bear fruit," said Borkowski.
