Ankara has never ignored Baku's interests in its relations with Yerevan: Davutoglu

The rapprochement between Armenia and Turkey has not come to an end, said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in the Turkish parliament.

"For the [Armenia-Turkey] Protocols to be brought to life it is necessary that they be ratified in the parliaments of the two countries.
And the final decision is with the parliament," said Davutoglu.

Saying that establishement of lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus Turkish FM said that political conflicts in that regions hinder the establishement of peace and stability and pose threat to the security of neighboring countries, including Turkey.

Referring to Armenia's relations with Azerbaijan Davutoglu said that Turkey had never ignored Azerbaijan's interest when it came to its relations with Armenia.

Further he said that Ankara will continue to back Baku and that Turkish authorities will not give up their statements.
