Aliyev showed that ignorance has no limits: Eduard Sharmazanov

The recent statement by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev revealed that ignorance has no limits, Spokesperson of the Republican Party of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, said in a release issued Wednesday.

Earlier Aliyev had said during an extended session at the ministers' cabinet that "Azerbaijani people will never give Nagorno Karabakh such a status which would separate Karabakh from Azerbaijan."

"I would like to inform Azerbaijan's premature sultan that the 'right to self-determination' means that a given people must decide its fate itself. The nations' right to self-determination rules out that a nation can decide instead of another one.

If it has been someone else who has up to day made decisions for Aliyev and his state that does not mean that he or his tribesmen can decide instead of Artsakh. It is only the people of Artsakh who can do that," said Sharmazanov, adding that the Artsakhi people have decided that Artsakh's independence has no alternative.
