Azerbaijan violates all the norms: Hovik Abrahamyan

Faithful to its destructive policy Azerbaijan continues the arms race in the region at the expense of its oil revenues and violates all the norms of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, Chairman of Armenia's Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan said as he addressed at the special session of the foreign relations committee at the European Parliament.

"The peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is of essential importance. The issue has a solution particularly based on the principles of international law stipulated by the CSCE Helsinki Final Act: territorial integrity, nations' self-determination and non-use of force. Azerbaijani leadership continues to endlessly make bellicose statements and seeds hatred in its society towards Armenians. Azerbaijan does not opt against using threats of taking military actions even in the threshold of talks aimed at regional cooperation which can be proved by the recently-adopted military doctrine. But Azerbaijani working style which poses threat to the whole region has not up to day been given any evaluation by relevant international bodies," said he.
